The First City Barbell Club (FCBC) focuses on practicing and improving the Olympic lifts, the Clean & Jerk and the Snatch, through a variety of strength work, skills and drills, and mobility work.
Open to all First City Athletes and the general public
The Barbell Club is led by USAW Sport Performance Level 2 Coach and CrossFit Weightlifting Coach, Tamara Cordero. To see more about Tamara, click here.
The First City Barbell Club meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5pm.
The Monday and Wednesday sessions are lead by a USAW Sports Performance Coach. Athletes will also have a third workout assigned to them and have access to the gym during our regularly scheduled gym times to perform this work on their own.
